Anyone that knows Jason (my husband!) knows that he loves the movie Fantastic Mr. Fox. If you have never heard of it, you can look it up HERE :)
So for about 2 years now I have really wanted to be Mrs. Fox for Halloween but have never had time to really get a costume together. This year was going to be the year! I decided to be ambitious and dust off my sewing machine because I was going to make this costume myself from start to finish. So about 10 days ago I went to Joann Fabrics, picked up some yellow material, red fabric paint, some fur for the ears, and went to work! Believe me it was not easy… I may have sewed things together upside-down a couple times and possibly even sewed it too small at one point (thank goodness I had extra material!). In spite of the highs and lows, I’m so happy with the way everything turned out.
I absolutely love Halloween. Do you have any spooky plans for the big night? We are planning on having some friends over for a Halloween movie night! We have already had a look through the cable TV schedule and there are some brilliant horror films showing on some of the cable channels on Halloween night so we are going to have a really spooky time. Which reminds me, do you like to watch horror films on cable? We recently upgraded our cable package and we have so many more channels now! A lot of people now prefer to use on-demand streaming platforms like Netflix to get their horror movie fix, but I prefer the wide range of films that can be found on cable! That being said, it is no secret that streaming services are everywhere at the moment. I am intrigued to see what all this will mean for cable tv statistics for 2022. Do you think streaming will overtake cable TV one day? Anyway, I cannot wait to get stuck into all the new movie channels, especially over Halloween. Horror movies always go down well in our house. Jason and I just love watching scary films together!
Fun Fact// I did this photoshoot all while I had poison ivy all over my leg.. It sucked. Poison Ivy is no joke people! I have seriously no idea how I got it but it started out with these giant red bumps, then got super swollen, then oozey, then scaly, all the while it has been inching insanely! Luckily I have Jason who is more then happy to give me medical advice, pick up medicine for me, and look up pictures on google lol.
Have a Fantastic Halloween!
