Kelly and Roman were so amazing to work with during this maternity session. Before the shoot, we chatted on the phone for a bit about what locations we might want to go to for their session. Especially with lifestyle photography, I love to really capture my families in comfortable, REAL settings so you can image my excitement when they mentioned getting some photos done in their nursery! I struck gold with them! Their nursery was beautiful and bright and how amazing is that wooden world map hanging above the crib? Yeah, Roman built that.
After shooting around their home for a bit, we took a little trip out to some property that they own right off the Swartara Creek. Kelly told me that just a week previous she spontaneously bought a sheer maternity dress off of Etsy and wanted to wear it in the water. All I’m thinking in this moment is umm yes! So glad I got to meet them and photograph this special time in their lives :)
