On December 18th these two little miracles were born at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. Surrogacy is a blessing and because of it a baby boy and a baby girl were able to be born to their amazing parents. I loved all the emotions in that tiny little operating room and couldn’t be more happy for Claire and Bobby! Below is there story>>
“My husband and I are high school sweethearts, and have been together for more than 16 years. Five years ago, we were thrilled to be expecting our first son, Daniel. Sadly, he was stillborn on September 10, 2010. We were devastated by the loss and feel his presence everywhere we go. Less than a year later, we lost another little boy in a second trimester miscarriage. In the years that followed, we endured countless medical treatments and were never given an explanation for our losses. After 4+ years and 10 losses (with a lot of bumps down this road and still without any answers), we decided to pursue gestational surrogacy to carry our embryos. If you’re looking into finding a surrogate, I couldn’t recommend it more. After the trauma we have been through, the thought of someone being so generous enough to carry our babies is the most amazing feeling. If anyone cannot conceive or attain pregnancy for whatever reason, surrogacy is definitely a path to explore
Fast forward another year, and we are expecting twins through surrogacy! Our amazing and wonderful GC happens to be a labor and delivery nurse. She is probably the most incredible and generous person that I have ever met and we feel blessed that our families have been brought together. Her husband is amazing, and her two gorgeous children bring so much joy to our lives..
Because of our long road of losses, and the stillbirth of our son, we are cautiously optimistic, but maintaining a positive and hopeful outlook. I am starting a charity to provide hope for families who have endured stillbirth and recurrent loss, and fund research for answers. I want to be able to share my story to give hope to others on this same arduous road.” -Claire
