I’d been sooo excited for Janelle and Jeff’s wedding ever since they booked their wedding date the year prior. Shooting their fall engagement session only furthered my excitement! They were so loving and kind. I couldn’t wait to see what they had planned for their wedding day.
What a beautiful wedding it was and quite the day of unexpected weather! The afternoon was lovely and Janelle and Jeff’s first look was one of the sweetest I had ever seen. The guests started arriving and just 10 minutes before their outdoor ceremony was suppose to start, it began to rain. Rain is probably an understatement.. it was pouring! When you experience Pennsylvania downpours, you also find that most of them don’t last very long. So we waited it out and 20 minutes later the rain stopped and all the guests went to their seats. This is why you have a first look! You never know what the weather is going to be like on your wedding day and for this wedding, I’m so glad we had the time flexibility.
After a heartfelt ceremony, we traveled back to The Booking House in Manheim, Pennsylvania to finish the celebrations that evening. Wildflowers by Design did a phenomenal job with all the florals including the hanging garlands and the numerous, lush bouquets displayed throughout the venue. There were so many beautiful elements at Janelle and Jeff’s wedding and I’m so honored to have been able to photograph it for them.
