The hardest thing you have to figure out when coming to a new area is where to eat! We lived in Pennsylvania for 4 years while in medical school and during those years we discovered some of our favorite restaurants. All of these places to eat are in Hershey or surrounding areas. Although, make sure you find some different restaurants too! There’s probably so many more places available to eat nowadays, have a look around the area beforehand! Another suggestion is to look for some different pizzeria restaurants, although I’ve recommended Sorentos pizza, there are so many other places you could go if you wanted pizza! Anyway, here’s my 10 favorite restaurants that I’ve been to.

Favorite BBQ place hands down. They make the best ribs and mac n cheese.
Sorentos pizza-
Super yummy new york style pizza. We get the Old World with Pepperoni.
Bangkok 56-
Awesome Thai Restaurant in Harrisburg and definitely a hole-in-the-wall type of place. I get the Druckin Noodle. It’s spicy and delicious!
Hershey Pantry-
Best breakfast/brunch place in Hershey. In the warm months I usually try and get a seat on the back deck. Anything you get will be great and the hot chocolate is a personal favorite of mine.
The Borro-
My husband is a wing person. When we move somewhere new, he’s on the lookout for his new wing place. The Borro was it! We’d order one basket of medium honey mustard and another with the habanero lime. The Borro fries are also delicious if you don’t mind the calories!
Tomato Pie Cafe-
The perfect cafe for sandwiches, salads, soups, and coffee. You can sit down on the restaurant side or you can just walk in and sit on the cafe side.
Cocoa Beanery-
This was a great spot right next to the hospital that I liked to go to and work. They have delicious sandwiches and snacks and the patio is perfect for enjoying warm weather.
Neato Burrito-
The most delicious Mexican burritos. Get one of their specialty tortillas and order the Cowboy!
Annie’s Ice Cream-
Up for soft serve ice cream in the summer? Annie’s is my go-to. Get a cone or a yummy mix-in with your favorite candy.
El Sol Mexican Restaurant-
In downtown Harrisburg, El Sol is a great sit down Mexican place. The food is great and the ambience is so fun! Make sure to call ahead of time for a reservation because when it’s busy they don’t take walk-ins.
