I love shooting at the Bear Mill Estate in Pennsylvania, so when Katie contacted me about shooting her wedding there, I was so excited! In addition to being a wedding venue, the Bear Mill Estate also provides gorgeous florals. They created the most incredible dried flower bouquets for Katie and all her bridesmaids and a stunning floral arch for their ceremony. I’ve never shot a wedding with dried flowers, and now it’s my favorite thing! There were also lots of handmade vintage elements throughout the day. Esco Paper Co designed their invitation suite and Mary Luistro did all the free hand calligraphy. The delicate cake topper was made by Le Bianche Margherite and all the metal doves (on the plates), bird houses, and cookies were carefully made by family members. I love when weddings have personal touches like that! All the stunning hair and makeup was done by Stefani from Bonafide Ginger and Katie’s fairytale wedding gown was designed by Muse by Berta. Last but not least, Clara’s Groovy Deliciousness designed 3 beautiful wedding cakes decorated with ruffles and gold foiling. I photographed the majority of this wedding using Fuji 400h film which was scanned and developed by Photovision Lab. Thank you Katie and Michael for a beautiful wedding day and for sharing your story with me!
