Being a family photographer in Winston Salem is such a joy! I get to meet so many new people, learn about their lives, play with their kids (and dogs!), and just have an amazing time creating photographs for them! And after the session, my absolute favorite thing is seeing which photos they decide to print and hang in their homes. Love it!
For this family, they actually printed a candid photo to be the main photo on their gallery wall instead of a traditional portrait. Candid photos show so much personality and that’s why I actually take mostly candid photos for my sessions. I’d definitely include some traditional portraits too, but the candids are what we usually gravitate towards the most. Every family is unique, and I love the personalities that shine through each photo I take of them.
