Looking for a barn wedding venue in Raleigh, North Carolina? Look no further! Walnut Hill has both a bridal suite and a groom’s suite, which is a dream for any wedding photographer. The grounds are stunning and the white barn is a dream for wedding photos.
This wedding day began when my bride put on her wedding dress and met her groom outside for a “first touch” before he made his way to the church. For those of you who don’t know, a “first touch” is very common in the southern states if you aren’t planning on seeing each other before the ceremony. This is a way you can be with one another, without seeing each other. It’s a really sweet moment to have if your timeline allows.
Holly and Casey married each other at a church, then met their guests back at Walnut Hill for cocktail hour and the reception. I love the area for cocktail hour. It’s hosted outside on the back side of the barn, next to the water. So pretty!
Walnut Hill has lots of photo locations, which is super awesome for any couple getting married there. We took photos in the fields, trees, by the water, and even the outside of the barn is a stunning location. The evening ended with a sparkler exit and the newlyweds running out to their getaway car. Such a fun day and I can’t wait to go back for another gorgeous wedding!
