Julia and Patrick’s spring engagement session in Charlotte, North Carolina was such a beautiful evening from start to finish. After originally planning their session earlier in the week, we decided to reschedule because there was lots of rain in the forecast. I’m so glad we waited because we ended up with the warmest spring evening and the prettiest light for their engagement photos together. Spring sessions in Charlotte are always some of my favorites with all of the fresh greenery and soft evening light, and this session was the perfect example of that.
We started the session at Myers Park Presbyterian Church, which is such a timeless location for engagement photos in Charlotte. I loved photographing this couple against the stone architecture and throughout the greenery-filled courtyard around the church. The mix of textured stone, ivy, and soft spring colors created such a romantic backdrop for their photos. These two were so natural together and made the entire session feel effortless from the very beginning.
Halfway through the session and after an outfit change, we drove over to Midtown Park for our second location. I loved the contrast between the two locations because Midtown Park brought a more modern feel while still having beautiful greenery throughout the space. The walking paths, open areas, and city feel made it such a fun location for the second half of their session.
If you’re looking for Engagement Photos in Midtown Park Charlotte NC, this location is such a beautiful option for couples wanting a clean, natural, and relaxed setting for their engagement session. Between the warm spring weather, beautiful light, and the sweetest couple, this entire session was such a dream to photograph, and I’m already so excited for their wedding day.
