Wildlife Sanctuary Engagements | Vanessa + Steve

When I talk session locations with brides, I want to make sure we pick a place that they love whether it be somewhere that is personal to the couple (like a snuggly session at home) or somewhere that is their style (like a garden or a city session). With this couple, they wanted something completely organic, over grown with wildflowers, scenic, but also easy access with a dress. After some research I found the Middle Creek Wildlife Sanctuary! Very beautiful and scenic and definitely has a wilderness look about it. There are also subtle paths everywhere so don’t have to trail blaze too much.

Vanessa and Steve drove all the way from Maryland to Central Pennsylvania for our engagement session at the sanctuary and it was definitely worth it. I loved both of Vanessa’s long dresses to play with as we were shooting and the personal touch of incorporating Steve’s uniform towards the end. Enjoy these beautiful people and be on the lookout for their gorgeous waterfront wedding that I’ll be posting very soon :)
