This North Carolina Modern Barn Wedding at Board and Batten was inspired by the venue itself! It highlights herringbone walls, a huge double-sided stone fireplace, and a stunning bridal suite that would make any bride feel gorgeous!

Eliana Nunes Floral and Event Design styled the ceremony with draping garlands, a whimsical floral arch, and white wooden chairs from Party Reflections to give the space a clean look. Deep blue tones of velvet tablecloths were provided by Nuage Designs to add a rich look. Eventful NC incorporated their glassware and candle holders for a romantic feel in addition to a vintage drink bar where specialty cocktails were displayed.

The velvet escort cards, hand-painted invitation suite, dinner menus, and cocktail signage were designed and calligraphed by Piachella Calligraphy. Cakes and All Things Yummy constructed a marbled exterior, two-tiered cake with swirls of gold.

Tease and Blush created a flawless and glowy look for our bride. The pink lip and rosy cheeks were the perfect compliment to the subtle pink and floral accented wedding gown that was provided by Bellissima Bridal Boutique. The bride wore an emerald cut halo engagement ring and wedding band while our groom wore a hammered silver wedding band. Both were from Windsor Jewelers

I used Fuji 400 film to best capture the rich and vibrant color palette of the pink florals and blue velvets. Shooting on film provides a richness to each photo while also keeping the elements soft and intimate. We hope this inspires all you barn wedding lovers who want a modern and whimsical vibe!
