Anniversary photos at home are the perfect type of photography during this season of the COVID pandemic. Just think of all the time we’ve all been spending doing projects, decorating, and making things look their best. So why not show them off by having your next photo session in the place you spend the most time, at home.
Here was another anniversary session at did at the couple’s home!
Lindsey and Mike have done so much work to their interior, so it was really fun to photograph them in it. I love how cozy these photos are. We started with them hanging out on the couch. They love watching movies, TV shows, and playing video games in their living room so it was the perfect place to capture them. Their cats even joined in from time to time!
I also think clothes are an important aspect when having your photos done in your home. How do you usually dress when you are hanging out on the couch, cooking in the kitchen, snuggling in bed? You probably aren’t in a cocktail dress.. You want to make sure you dress true to yourself and true to the environment that you are in. But also don’t go too casual with sweatpants or pajamas (because I know that’s what a lot of you wear when you are at home 😂). You still want to look nice since you are getting yourpicturess taken. Lindsey and Mike kept it casual with jeans and comfy t-shirts. Perfect!
We ended the session in their bedroom with Lindsey and Mike snuggling in bed. We even snuck in a few fun photos of just Lindsey which was super fun!
