Farm Maternity Session with Three Cute Dogs

I photographed Morgan and Jaron’s wedding a while back when I was still living in Pennsylvania. So when I was making a trip back north for a few shoots, Morgan got in touch with me about photographing her maternity session. I jumped at the chance to see one of my favorite couples again along with their three adorable dogs! Maternity photos with dogs are so much fun (actually any session with dogs is super fun) 😉

We arranged to meet on the last day I was in PA while I was heading back home. There was an old farm in Reading PA that Morgan and Jaron have loved for years so we were able to arrange to use the property as a backdrop for our session. We started with all the photos that would include the pups. Many would think that corralling that many dogs for photos would be difficult but these are seriously the most well behaved dogs ever (and the sweetest too). It was fall time so I loved the colors on the trees and had to take advantage of them for photos. These photos with the dogs and the tree with the red leaves are some of my favorites from the entire session!

After we finished up with the dogs, a family member took them so that we could get photos with just Morgan and Jaron. I’ve talked on my blog before about tips when getting photos with pets and having an additional person present to help is a big one (you can read the rest of my tips here). I loved exploring the farm with just the soon to be parents. You could tell that they were anxiously awaiting the birth of their baby girl and couldn’t be more excited!
