My Workflow for Photographing Wedding Flat Lays and Bridal Details
Now that we’ve talked about tips to photograph the bride and groom getting ready, it’s time to talk about photographing wedding details. Today, I’m sharing my workflow on how I photograph all the bridal details on a wedding day in addition to all the paper goods and small details for my couples. On a standard wedding day, I’m usually able to photograph all these things within 30 minutes. Those 30 minutes include styling time and how I lay out my beautiful flat lays to include all of my couple’s details.
One of the most important things to be able to photograph wedding flat lays efficiently is having everything together when I arrive. I prep my couples to gather all details and have them put together so when I arrive, I can focus on styling and laying out their photos. It’s important to me so that we know that nothing has been forgotten. I’d hate to miss a piece of jewelry or part of the stationery set simply because I didn’t have it. This is a great thing to put in your wedding planning guide!
