Weddings at the Biltmore are so fun to photograph because there is so much to photograph! This Biltmore Estate Deerpark wedding took place at the end of June. It was a hot and humid day with a midday shower (thankfully after all the portraits around the Biltmore house and gardens). I also had the wonderful pleasure of working with the event planner Two Sweet Sparrows. If you are planning a wedding in Asheville, Nicole is a dream to work with!
My couple started their day getting ready at the Inn on Biltmore Estate. I always start with photos of their details and getting ready. Emma, our bride, booked a stunning suite at the Inn. Perfect backdrop for a toast from the Matron of Honor before getting dressed. My couple wanted to do their first look at the Inn with the mountains as a backdrop before heading over to the Biltmore house and gardens for their rest of their portraits.
After their portraits, it rained on our drive to the venue at Deerpark. Thank goodness we got all the portraits done before then! Petal and Fern did all the florals for the ceremony and reception. I loved all the colors! Such a welcome change from the neutral weddings that I’m use to photographing. The evening ended on the dance floor with the Fly Fidelity Band. Bands bring an energy to weddings that is so fun!
