Guys. I’m am sooo excited about this behind the scenes post! I’ve never done one, and it’s mostly because I’ve never really had photos of myself working. But this year I asked all my second shooters if they would be able to sneak a few photos here and there of me (I also have other sneaky tasks that I ask of my second shooters that you can read about here!). So all year I’ve been compiling these photos for this very post! And I’ve decided it might be fun to add some commentary to a few of the photos to give you an idea of what the heck I was doing…. But in most of these photos you can find me fluffing dresses, giving speeches, carrying bouquets and dresses, and (my personal favorite) dancing at the reception ;)
I secretly love mirror selfies.
Awe my brides are so fun!
Uncle Bob trying to sneak a shot over my shoulder..
Sometimes I dance with my eyes closed.
There were so many bugs in this field and my couple stuck it out like champs! I must have swallowed so many because every time I opened my mouth to talk I was spitting out bugs. Very attractive..
Another mirror selfie at it’s finest.
“Dang girl. You look fine.”
This is how my hair looks after a 9 hour day.. yikes!
Dress fluffing this beauty :)
I can tell that whatever I was saying must have been important..
We were being rained on in this moment. Everyone was so awesome and cooperative!
The groom and I tag teaming while bustling the brides dress.
This was me getting out of the operating room after photographing a twin birth story! I couldn’t take in my bag so it was just me, my camera, and the blue operating gown.
Not sure what’s going on here.. I may have been attempting to pose.
Reception dancing is the best ;)
Taking a quick peek and it must have been gorgeous! But seriously, look at that stunning bride behind me. You knoooow that every photo of her was going to be amazing.
Testing the reception lighting!
Trying to explain a pose and probably failing by the looks of their faces lol.
And let’s end with another dancing shot here. I call this move the jelly fish.
Huge thanks to my second shooters this year for taking these lovely photos!
