As I’ve mentioned in previous blogposts, although I’m not a city girl, I do love photographing in the city. I’ve had the honor of photographing in Philadelphia, Harrisburg, Charleston, Boston, and NYC to name a few, and each place has unique and beautiful spots to photograph at! New York City engagement photos are one of my very favorite! So many awesome places just a short walk from each other!
Katie and Phil work in New York City were planning a stunning wedding on the shores of New Jersey. When I first met them, I knew how much they loved the city and how important it was to capture their love and their relationship in that setting. So we photographed their session in the city they know and love :)
We walked all around for Katie and Phil’s engagement session. It was a very sunny, and hot I might add, afternoon. But don’t worry, because we powered through that summer heat! There were so many cute shops, roads, and paths to stop at and enjoy. Every time I visit this city I see something new, and this session was definitely just that. Something new on every corner. For these New York City engagement photos, Katie and Phil stopped at a cafe, strolled through the streets, kissed on crosswalks, and cuddled on stoops. I loved every minute of it because taking iconic New York City engagement photos for a stunning and stylish couple was always on my bucket list, and now I can check it off!
