Carolyn and Rob hosted their intimate weekday wedding on a warm summer day. As Carolyn got ready at her house, I photographed all her details. Rebecca Rose Events styled all Carolyn’s paper products for photos, while I gathered the bridal details. While we were busy with details, Casey from The Parlour styled the brides hair with some loose curls and added a beautiful hair piece while Aimee Crepeau Makeup enhanced the overall whimsical look. The groom, Rob, being the true southern gentleman that he is, dressed himself and all his groomsmen in blue seersucker suits. I loved the pop of pattern!
After the bride got in her BHLDN gown, we made our way to the church. Like most churches in the southern states, they wouldn’t let photographers in the chapel during the actual ceremony. But we could take photos from the balcony. Immediately after the first kiss, I ran downstairs to capture their exit. I even caught an adorable kiss at the end of the aisle!
Carolyn and Rob didn’t want a reception on their wedding day. They wanted an intimate dinner at one of the most delicious and historic restaurants in Winston Salem, The Spring House Restaurant. Rebecca Rose Events teamed up with many amazing local vendors to achieve the personalized touch that the couple wanted for all their guests. The simple yet elegant wedding cake was designed by Cakes by Chloe, the Table Linens were from Nuage Designs (they have the most amazing linens!!), the flatware was from Cottage Luxe, and the glassware was from Party Reflections. My favorite personalized item of the day were the cocktail napkins from The French Table featuring the couple’s three dogs printed on each one!
After the ceremony, Triad Eco Adventures dropped all the guests off at Spring House Restaurant in a trolley, where everyone then got to enjoy yummy hors d’oeuvres, a delicious intimate meal, and pleasant conversation with friends and family. So happy with everything about this wedding! I hope to photograph other events with all these talented vendors!
