I visited The Distillery wedding venue, in the Raleigh North Carolina area, just last month for the first time. It was still under renovations but I just fell in love with the uniqueness of the building! The board and batten moldings, the gold chandeliers, and the modern black windows are just a few things that really sets this venue a part from others in the area. I teamed up with Chad Biggs Event Planning to help bring this white canvas of a building to life. Since it was in February, it only felt right to style with deep reds and pinks with little touches of X’s and O’s. Loved seeing all the potential that The Distillery had for potential weddings in the future.
Some of favorite elements of this shoot were the tablescape with the velvet tablecloth, the cake display from Cakes by Chloe, the custom XO macarons by Sweets by Shayda, and all the paper goods from Em Paper Co (one of my favorite wedding invitation designers here in North Carolina)! The details are what really makes a wedding stand out. 100 weddings could be photographed at the same venue but what is going to set each of those weddings a part and make them unique and different are the personal details planned. For this wedding inspiration, we wanted something romantic and modern with a little touch of whimsical. Enjoy some of my favorite images from the shoot!
