My Go To Settings for Camera as a Wedding Photographer
Ever wonder what another photographer’s camera settings are at for a specific image? When I first started in photography, I was constantly asking my mentors and friends to walk me through their portraits – including the settings on their camera. It’s no secret that if you put five photographers in the same spot with the same subject, you’ll wind up with five different images because of everyone’s style. But, I always felt like learning their settings would help me to understand how to capture a variety of locations, subjects and setups. That’s why today, I’m sharing my go to settings for my camera on a wedding day! I know it can feel overwhelming when you first step out into that role, so I hope these settings help you as a starting point!
Today, I’m digging into my ISO, shutter speeds, aperture and more. This video will walk you through not only what I pick but why I choose those settings, too. So tune in below!
