My Process for Working with a Photo Editor as a Wedding Photographer
For the last 5 years, I’ve been working with a photo editor for my wedding photos. Weddings are super time consuming to edit and as you begin to photograph more, that means you’re spending more and more time editing all of those images. I’m a firm believer in the power of outsourcing when it’s a good fit for your business. As you begin to photograph more weddings, I highly recommend outsourcing to an editor. The process of working with an editor is a lot easier than you think, trust me! Today, I’m sharing my exact process for working with my photo editor – including my tips and tricks to send your images and make it super easy to follow!
As a reminder, I only outsource my wedding editing right now. The process for sending all of my photos from portrait sessions to an editor just doesn’t make sense at this point. But I LOVE being able to send my wedding photos to my amazing editor! It will come as no surprise that we use Adobe Lightroom to work together – so follow along in this week’s video! We have our own way of communicating images, preferences, and more. I hope these tips help you find what works best for you and your editor!
