This winter has been full of maternity and newborn sessions and I’m not mad about it. Not. One. Bit. All these sessions bring my back to this Reynolda Gardens fall maternity session that I shot last September. The great thing about Reynolda Gardens is it really does look amazing year round! It’s not only a great location for maternity sessions, but for engagement sessions as well! Check out one of my recent engagement sessions there here!
Megan reached out to me about photographing her maternity session but also wanting to include her husband and cute son in the photos. I’m so glad because as much as I love a good solo baby bump picture, I think the photos where Megan is holding her son with her baby bump are so tender and precious. She was expecting another little boy and I could just imagine her thinking about how much fun her two boys were going to have together once he was born :)
Are you pregnant and maybe haven’t thought about a maternity session yet? I highly encourage you to book one! As had a pregnancy is, it’s also a time of excitement and anticipation. What better way to document those quiet and intimate moments then with a photo session! How amazing will it be to be able to look back at these photos for years to come and be reminded of what life was like and how blessed you both where to be welcoming a new addition to the family.
Don’t wait to book you maternity session. I usually photograph my expecting mothers between 7 and 8 months before their due date. This way they are still comfortable moving around for photos :) You can book your maternity session today by clicking here or you can get more information by inquiring with me here.
